Numark’s 6,000 members will now be able to access to a fully integrated, scan-driven dispensing solution designed to improve accuracy, workflow efficiency and patient safety.
The integration brings together Golden Tote, Numark’s exclusive semi-automated dispensing system and Pharmacy Manager, Cegedim Rx’s award-winning PMR.
The connection between the two platforms means pharmacies can now streamline assembly, reduce stock holding and remove significant manual checking and sorting from the daily workload.
Golden Tote has already demonstrated the ability to cut stock holding by up to 45% and release meaningful staff time. By combining it with Pharmacy Manager’s barcode-led workflow and built-in clinical safety features, teams can expect further reductions in error risk and a smoother, more controlled dispensary process.
For UK pharmacies, the integration between Golden Tote and Pharmacy Manager represents more than technology, said Tracey Robertson Managing Director of Cegedim Rx. She believes it’s also delivering greater choice, access and dispensing confidence.
“This collaboration allows pharmacies to decide how they want to work and access advanced digital tools that simplify dispensing, without compromise.
"Together Pharmacy Manager and Golden Tote will deliver a powerful, connected solution that enhances dispensing efficiency and patient safety, freeing pharmacists to focus on the care their patients rely on. In doing so, they can strengthen and expand clinical services, supporting a more sustainable future for the modern pharmacy.”
Harry McQuillan, Chairman of Numark added: “Community pharmacy needs solutions that work with the grain of everyday practice. This integration gives our members a practical route to safer, smarter and more efficient dispensing, underpinned by technology that improves accuracy and supports clinical service expansion. It reflects our belief, set out clearly in Numark’s 12 Principles, that digital tools and safe workflows are essential to building a sustainable future for the sector. Most importantly, it helps pharmacy teams spend more time where it matters; with patients.”
