Thanks to this new integration, pharmacies using Pharmacy Manager now connect directly with Avonnex’s original pack dispensing robots. It’s a practical move that gives you more flexibility and greater choice in how you run your business.

Founded by engineer Amrik Tahim, Avonnex was inspired by the frustrations his community pharmacist wife faced when working with traditional dispensing robots. The result is the SINTESI range - compact, high-capacity systems with a number of patented features, including smart exits and a picking head capable of delivering 15 packs at a time. Prescription item capacity ranges from 3,300 to 65,500 items, depending on the model.

“Now, with this partnership Pharmacy Manager customers will be able to consider how we can help them automate their dispensing,” Amrik adds.

“We work very closely with our customers to ensure the original pack dispensing robots they invest in are right for them, the space they want it to occupy, the volume of prescriptions they need to dispense and how the team like to work. There’s a lot of factors to be considered and that also includes if we’re able to integrate seamlessly with their existing PMR system – the heart of the pharmacy.”
